Needless to say, Filipinos have assimilated the Italian palate, which is made obvious in the many Italian restaurants around the country. Cafes also serve Italian dishes as local favorites. And of course, we have also made fusion dishes, like the pastas, inspired by the rich taste of this unique European country. It is no wonder that Bacolodnons are excited to welcome Italianni’s–a well-known Italian restaurant in Manila. Located at the north wing of SM City Bacolod (just across the atrium), this is going to be another crowd-drawer in this well-loved mall.

Welcome to Bacolod, Italianni’s!

This popular restaurant chain opened its maiden branch in Greenbelt 27 years ago. Its appeal continues to endure, with many of my Bacolodnon friends saying that they visit Italianni’s whenever they go to Manila.

From the food to the service, it seems that they have captured the hearts of Filipino diners. The moment guests step into the doors of Italianni’s, they immediately feel a warm welcome from the staff’s standard Buon Giorno greeting. The sense of being appreciated continues as the guests dine.

Spinach and Artichoke Formaggio

This is a mainstay among those who love bread and cheese. It is a dip made of spinach, artichokes, mushrooms, cream cheese, and parmesan served with toasted garlic bread.

This pasta dish has made Italianni’s famous. The large moist meatballs are smothered in a rich tomato sauce and served with spaghetti pasta cooked al dente.

Chicken Italianni’s

A must-try, this main dish is savory, herby, flavorful, and with just the right hint of spice. It is pull-apart chicken cooked in white wine, Italian sausage, white onions, red bell pepper, rosemary, and potatoes. So tender!

Salmon Oreganato

From the name itself, it is a salmon fillet grilled to perfection and served with rosemary potatoes and vegetables.

Grilled Pork Chop Au Poivre

Moist and tender pepper-crusted bone-in pork chops served with rosemary potatoes, carrots, crispy-fried spinach, and wild mushrooms in marsala wine sauce. It comes with steamed rice.

The Bar

Meanwhile, the bar is stocked with a wide array of cocktails, wines, beer, liquors as well as refreshing non-alcoholic beverages.

You may want to hang out with friends here, as Italianni’s has an ongoing Happy Hour promotion at 30% off on all alcoholic drinks from as early as 2 pm to 7 pm daily. It’s a great way to unwind after a day’s work or during lazy weekends.
