Achi Dindin and Siobe Shane never liked learning Chinese when they were younger. But I wanted them to be able to, not only as homage to their ancestry, but also because Mandarin is a widely spoken language in business circles all over the world. It is part of future-proofing them.

Thankfully, they have a newfound interest in learning the language lately so I let them have FREE trial classes for Online Mandarin Courses (1-on-1 and 1-on-2 sessions) at Hans Language Center (FB: https://www.facebook.com/Hans.MagaMind). Shane also tried the Online Singapore Math (Small group classes: 4-8 students/class). They are based in Manila and we are in Bacolod, so online it is. For those in Manila, you can opt to have F2F classes, too.

Our daughters actually had so much fun! The teacher was very engaging and encouraging and both Dindin and Shane followed the prompts. I am super excited for them. Hope they will continue to have the same interest until they are able to converse in Mandarin.

The event was also the launch of their 3 programs to ignite hope among the towns most hit by Typhoon Tino.

1. Ornaments (buy an ornament and write a message)
2. Gifts (leave gifts at the hotel for the victims)
3. Art (local artists gave artworks that will be auctioned)

Proceeds will be distributed to remote communities in La Castellana and Moises Padilla in Southern Negros Occidental with the help of the Philippine Air Force.

With this verse, I can remember only 1 person - my husband. Given that he’s not perfect, but he has helped me and supported me during my darkest years. He helped me navigate as I fought off my personal dem0ns and somehow always pointed me to God.

I am his #1 fan and I always breathe a prayer of thanks for my husband. In our every day life, I try to see even the smallest good I see in him and amplify it—to him and before God.

Imagine our society when the husband takes the lead role in our families and the wife gushes out thanks for having such a godly spouse? Our world would be in a better place and the next generation will be safe.

May every husband strive to be the pillar of their home and may every wife harbor a heart of gratitude always. 🙏 These two simple things will surely turn around marriages. And they don’t cost money.

Hubby and I had the most memorable long weekend in Iligan and CDO!!! 🎉 In the past, we had to fly to Cebu then take another route to CDO.

Now, Cebu Pacific Air flies direct from Iloilo to CDO every other day (TThs). From Bacolod, we just took the ferry to Iloilo then landed at the Laguindingan airport, located in between the cities of Iligan and CDO.

We first went to Iligan for the Diyandi Festival and a birthday. The next trip, we took a bus and proceed to CDO and met up with friends.

It was a short but very memorable trip as we reconnected with family and friends in CDO and Iligan. 💙💛
