She is off from her lessons and gave her pretty much the afternoon off. I am glad that she spent it doing crafts rather than using her phone. This is a butter on bread bracelet inspired from Alice in Wonderland. The bracelet has a lining, covered in pink lace, and a hook-and-eye sewn by hand. The butterfly wings was construction paper painted in watercolor. The body was made with eva rubber and fastened with hot glue. The eldest: she made dinner. We enrolled Shane at Powerhouse School of Talents We enrolled Shane at Powerhouse School of Talents to help with her posture in managing her #scoliosis. Little did we know that she gained a community and learned about manners, perseverance, and teamwork. The last 3 months, she has grown so much as a person and today was their recital/graduation. The icing on the cake was her wearing her vision: an upcycled ensemble of an old orange gradient chiffon skirt with asymmetrical hem paired with a black suit embellished with colorful buttons. The entire outfit was tied together with a jabot and a wide rainbow pastel belt that she had sewn by hand. We are especially thankful to the nurturing by the Queen maker, Ms. Jelliane.
