January 14 - National Caesarean Day

Our bunso; my 2nd CS delivery, but this time made by choice. With our eldest, it was an emergency. At 9cm, my uterus was on the verge of ”erupting” from 27 hours of active labor on top of weeks of Braxton-Hicks. Her heartbeat already became erratic. Took my body several months to heal because of the trauma of childbirth (going through induced labor and then C-Section).

With @siobe_shane , it was easy. Felt some pain, went to the OR, and asked the nurse on duty to call my OB. No trauma. It was an easy delivery on a Sunday afternoon. On the 4th day, I can already walk steadily.

My last CS was 12 years ago. But I can still remember my birth stories like they were fresh in my memory. Now, parang gusto ko mag 3rd time CS. Char! Haha

Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to be a mom. ❤️🙏
