I am an avid foodie and homecook with lots of homecooking recipes under my belt. Along with my husband, we like trying new dishes and different cuisines.
So I do a lot of kitchen experiments. And the whole family are members of my taste-testing team. My Family, My Fans of My Homecooking Recipes
Thankfully, my family loves my cooking so I am not shy to share my homecooking recipes with other moms who would also like to prepare restaurant-quality meals at home.
These are pork, beef, chicken, pasta, noodle, seafood, or vegetable dishes that we have enjoyed. Our kids are really happy when I cook.
Aside from the recipes, there are family stories as well as kitchen hacks in order to achieve the flavors I desire. Since I am not in the restaurant business, I can freely share my cooking tips.
I am happy if my readers re-create my dishes, share the photos, and tag me. It is so fulfilling.
Sometimes, I also share budget-friendly family meals. We are all affected by the Covid-19 pandemic so we should all be prudent with our finances. Let’s all try to save wherever we can so that we can preserve our family budget.
Cooking with Sardines
I have also come up with a series about cooking with sardines. This canned seafood is a staple among Filipino homes so we might as well get creative with it during the crisis. There are several of them in this blog so I hope you can check them out, too. Foreign Cuisine
I also experiment with foreign cuisine, like Korean and American. But mostly, it is Chinese food because of our Filipino-Chinese heritage. You will find here recipes and tips for well-loved Chinese favorites, like the Chinese birthday misua.
Or you can enjoy your DIY shabu-shabu hotpot at home. It’s one of the most popular recipes in this blog.
Hope you can share with me the dishes you have re-created at home. Tag me on Facebook or simply e-mail me at sigroid75@gmail.com
