Celebrating WaterWorld Iloilo 2nd Anniversary
The biggest waterpark in Iloilo City, WaterWorld Iloilo, celebrates two years of giving water fun to the people of Western Visayas. To celebrate the WaterWorld Iloilo 2nd anniversary, they held at foam party to the delight of the guests.
WaterWorld Iloilo 2nd Anniversary Foam Party
WaterWorld Iloilo is the biggest waterpark in Iloilo City. Our family was also part of their first year of operations, as we also spent an afternoon at the resort during one of our family travels to Iloilo.
The WaterWorld Iloilo 2nd Anniversary celebration was made more exciting with a foam party. Awesome party music was also provided by a DJ, so guests enjoyed dancing in the foam and splashing in and out of the water.
It’s the first time that our daughters experienced a foam party and it was too bad that Shane, the little one, was febrile on the day of the anniversary. They have been so excited to come back here but she had to sit this one out because her fever was quite high, though we still brought her to Iloilo.
Nevertheless, she begged for a chance to wear her swimsuit and play in the shallow pool even for just 15 minutes. I had to oblige, as we really felt bad that she could not join her older sister. Thankfully, I brought along my essential oil blends so I applied some on Shane before and after swimming. She was fine the following day.
With Titos and Titas
There are a lot of perks traveling with Titos and Titas, whether you are blood-related or by heart. Our eldest Shawna would not have enjoyed as much if not for Bacolod vloggers, Tita Mau and Tito Daryl, who went with her in the slides and rides. Mom and Dad were pre-occupied with Shane so at least, she had some responsible grown ups with her. Thank you so much!

Discounted Tickets
For the WaterWorld Iloilo 2nd anniversary celebration, the management decided to sell discounted tickets. On the day, tickets are only at P200 and many people took advantage of the offer. The resort was jam-packed from early in the morning until closing time. It was indeed a super treat from WaterWorld–guests got to enjoy swimming and the rides and also the foam party!

Restrictions
The bringing of outside food and drinks, including water bottles and biscuits for kids, is not allowed at WaterWorld Iloilo. All consumables must be bought within the resort.
Birthdays at WaterWorld Iloilo
Birthday party packages are also available at WaterWorld Iloilo. Spend the day here with your loved ones and enjoy swimming plus the thrilling slides the whole day! We chanced upon a birthday party during our stay there and the guests had so much fun!

Eon Centennial Resort Hotel & Waterpark
For total family fun, stay for the night at the Eon Centennial Resort Hotel and Waterpark. I was totally amazed at how close the hotel is to the waterpark. We were billeted at the Palm Villa, which are the accommodations nearest to the pool. As in the pool greeted us as soon as we stepped out of our hotel rooms. It’s so convenient.

Meanwhile, we thoroughly enjoyed food at The Leaf, which is the Iloilo restaurant outlet at the Eon Centennial Resort.
Traveling as a Family
When I was single, I loved to travel despite my motion sickness. For me, going to another place and experiencing something new is always an enriching experience. For kids, this is where the learn manners, social skills, as well as practical applications of their stock knowledge.

Going to WaterWorld Iloilo
From the Iloilo seaport, the best thing to do is to take the cab going to WaterWorld Iloilo or Eon Centennial Resort, especially if you have luggage. Fare is around P185 (roughly US$3), but we just gave P200 to the driver.
