Our Experience
Honestly, I have attended several Chinese community events here in Bacolod City where a vegetarian menu is available. It is also prepared by Apollo Restaurant Hilado.
Foremost, the aroma is so familiar and satisfying. Except perhaps for the texture of some of the vege-meats, the flavor is quite similar to the regular dishes that we so love at Apollo Restaurant.
But among everything served to us, the biggest surprise was the Battered Cauliflower. It was sooo good! It was flavorful that even our picky Siobe (younger sister) liked it and said “It tastes like chicken.”
Actually, it is so easy to just snack on it and keep eating it because it’s so fun to eat. And there’s no guilt because it is healthy anyway. Yes, it’s the ultimate healthy snack because it is just cauliflower with a thin batter.
