Pedal Go-Kart Bacolod for Kids

At Villa Angela East Walk, there’s a Pedal Go-Kart Bacolod track that kids (and even kids at heart) will surely enjoy. A nice way to get kids to sweat it out and be healthy.

Our kids thoroughly enjoyed Karting Toon Pedal Go-Kart here in Bacolod. It was good exercise for them.

Karting Toon Pedal Go-Kart has been around for some time here in Bacolod but we have never tried it. So after our Sunday dinner at Lion’s Park Grill Haus East, we crossed the street to where Karting Toon is.

As parents,we would like our children exposed to outdoor and physical activities for their overall health and fitness. In this day and age where gadgets are the norm, it is nice to have outdoor activities like this to encourage exercise and fun in the outdoors. Of course, this is just one way, but at least it’s a fun way and our kids enjoyed the experience.

It’s a nice bonding time as parents can coach kids or just race with them.

I say fun in the outdoors because the tracks are surrounded by neatly maintained shrubs and trees, so it is just so lovely to be surrounded by lush greenery.

The only downtime for Go-karting is when it is raining. So our family intends to keep enjoying this while the weather is fine. They are open from 4pm when the sun is starting to set already, but I think I would prefer to come here at night.

Go-Kart Rates

Each ride lasts 20 minutes. Rent for the blue go-kart is P80. The smaller yellow, orange, and red karts may be rented for P50. There are 10 blue karts and 15 small ones, so 25 kids can all ride together at one time.

The blue go-karts are for big kids and small-sized adults.

The go-karts are best for kids at least four years of age. Smaller kids who cannot reach the pedal may ride with a guardian while seated on the lap.

Sweating it Out

I am not sure how long is the go-kart track, but the kids can really break out a sweat in 20 minutes, especially if they pedal fast and go round and around the track many times.

The girls kind of found it hard to maneuver this area because it’s going up. But it was good exercise for them as they really had to pedal hard.

It took some time for our little Shane, who is four years old, to get her own yellow kart to go and her Papa had to help her. But eventually, she got the hang of it and she went around and around by herself.

Although it was a rather cool night when we went, both our little girls broke out a sweat. They pedaled around and around and also struggled to go up the elevated part. It was really a good and fun exercise for them. And since there were other kids around, it was also a fun time for them without the crowd.

Event Rentals

Aside from renting the pedal go-karts on site, you can rent them for special events in schools and also parties. That would make for a nice bonding as well as physical activity for kids.

  1. wow..another great bonding and adventure time with the kids. we been planning to try this since last year, but its always fully booked.

    1. Let’s go on a Sunday night! There were a few kids but not too many. So the kids had some playmates but it wasn’t too crowded. 🙂
