“It takes a village (or two) to raise a child,” stressed celebrity mom Dimples Romana during the first-ever #MomsRuleAtMangInasal: Mang Inasal Mothers’ Day MOMCON. The event, which is coined after two words, MOMfluencers Conference, was streamed live before lunch today on the Mang Inasal Facebook page.
The Milestone Mang Inasal Mother’s Day MOMCON
The online gathering itself is proof of the online support system mothers have nowadays, as they fulfill the role of being the modern mom. Virtually, mothers come together in order to exchange notes about rearing their respective kids.
“While all of us want to be the best moms to our children, we cannot do it alone. We all need people who will embrace even our imperfections and support us,” said Dimples. Mommy Dimples is expecting her third child any time soon and is experiencing new things on this journey. Her eldest daughter, Callie, now 18 years old, is currently studying in Australia. Meanwhile, her second child Alonzo is an active seven-year-old boy.
This was echoed by the country’s top mommy vlogger, Ciara Magallanes of Mommy Diaries PH, who shared that she has been blessed with a supportive husband, parents, and extended family. Her close family circle has helped her through her motherhood journey. “This is why we always make it a point to spend time with them by sharing meals together, to express our appreciation for all the help they give,” Ciara said.
The Mang Inasal Mother’s Day MOMCON was hosted by celebrity host Cerah Hernandez-Co, who just like Dimples and Ciara, is an avid Mang Inasal fan.
Mother’s Day MOMCON Highlights
Among the highlights of the event was the live participation of Mang Inasal mommy customers. They were able to share their own Mang Inasal moments through the live discussion on Facebook. And just like the rest of the mommy community, both Dimples and Cerah agree that Mang Inasal serves as a “binding force” that has nurtured and strengthened the ‘village’ as they all go through the joys and challenges of parenting.
“Mang Inasal has really been a part of our journey as a family,” Dimples shared. While each member has a favorite food, when someone suggests Mang Inasal, everyone in Dimples’ family agrees. And this bonding over their ihaw-sarap faves is now possible even if they are physically apart because of various access points that allow customers to enjoy Mang Inasal food anytime, anywhere.
Aside from the Mang Inasal MOMCON, netizens can also join the #MomsRuleAtMangInasal Photo Challenge. Promo joiners on Facebook can simply photo comment their recent Mang Inasal moment with their moms.
