Negros Power continues to conduct awareness campaigns in its area of service to educate its consumers. Recently, MoMs Across Philippines Negros, Inc. successfully held its General Assembly on February 21, 2026, at the Barangay Handumanan Gym in Bacolod City, where Negros Power conducted an IEC Talk. The event gathered mothers and community members to discuss organizational updates, advocacy initiatives, and other pressing community concerns.

Keeping Moms Informed
One of the highlights of the assembly was the IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) Talk conducted by Negros Power, which was led by Rollen Balquin, Community Relations Officer of Negros Power.

During the IEC Talk, Balquin presented the company’s programs and initiatives, emphasizing the importance of consumer awareness and open communication.
“Through IEC activities like this, we aim to keep consumers informed while also listening to their concerns. Open communication helps us improve our services and better serve the community,” Balquin said.
Open Forum
An open forum followed the presentation, where Negros Power addressed concerns raised by participants. Some of the most common concerns included issues related to billing, service reliability, and customer assistance.
Participant Wella De Guzman expressed appreciation for the activity, noting the value of direct engagement with the power provider.
“The IEC Talk helped us better understand Negros Power’s programs. It also gave us a chance to ask questions and receive clear answers,” she said.
Meanwhile, Felisa Goram highlighted the importance of information-sharing activities for consumers.
“Being informed empowers us as consumers. Activities like this allow us to voice our concerns and feel that we are being heard,” Goram said.
The General Assembly concluded with strengthened collaboration between MoMs Across Philippines Negros, Inc. and Negros Power. It reinforced a shared commitment to transparency, consumer education, and community development.
