The exciting thing about storybook ballet is incorporating the kids’ favorite stories into the dance exercises that they do in class.

Pretend Play in Dance School

According to Teacher Gianne, “If for the day, the theme is Moana, I let my daughter Drewy dress up in her Moana costume. Then we use the soundtrack of Moana while we introduce basic dance exercises and movements to the kids.”

  1. Happy to see cute faces making amazing professional ballet performances. Its nice how you have shared the benefits of learning early. I had read somewhere else too.. a lot of stars in Indian movies who are proficient in classical dance forms started to learn at 2-3 years of age. Kids love to be active and move around. What better way to have a positive release of energy too!

  2. How adorable! Every girl I know who started ballet or dance in general young has kept with fitness her whole life. It’s a great idea!
